• Berkeley Contra Dance, 1st/3rd/5th Wednesday, 8 pm - 10:30 pm, Grace North Church.   $9 general admission, $7 for members.

Public Transit: 

• The nearest BART station is Downtown Berkeley, which also connects to the nearest bus route AC Transit route 67 (get off at Oxford & Cedar and head down the hill on Cedar), or to bus route AC Transit route 43 (which may run more frequently than 67 and takes rides to Shattuck & Cedar, also a block from the dance).  In any case, the dance is only a 5 or 6 block walk from the BART station itself.

Dining: 

• There are a number of restaurants on Shattuck Avenue within a few blocks of Cedar.   Favorites include Cha Am Thai on the corner of Shattuck & Cedar, and Thai Delight on the west side of Shattuck about 3 blocks south.
